Russell Palmiter

Russell Palmiter is an experienced engineering leader, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Vorto since March 2024 and at Validere since December 2021, where contributions include developing analytics and AI models for the energy sector. Previously, Russell held multiple VP roles, including at GroundSwell SPC, where leadership facilitated the launch of a mobile app, and Tend.com, overseeing software tools for sustainable produce markets. Russell's entrepreneurial background includes founding Code Metrics and RetailKit, the latter being acquired after achieving profitability. Prior roles include VP of Products at SwimOutlet.com and significant engineering positions at Salesforce.com, Adobe Systems, and Intuit. Russell earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Business from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
