Gabriel Maeck, LCSW has a long and varied work experience. Gabriel began their career in 2011 as a Contracted Somali Translator for The Center for Victims of Torture. Gabriel then worked as an Associate Educator for Elizabeth Hall Elementary School - Minneapolis Public Schools from 2011 to 2013, where they launched and directed 6 student enrichment programs, coordinated care for ~20 multilingual and high-risk students and families, and provided as-needed classroom support for 20+ teachers. From 2013 to 2017, Maeck worked as a Diagnostician at Metro Psychology Support Services, where they served as the main community representative of the agency, screening and diagnosing ~100% of new patients at over 125% of quota, achieving ~300% client enrollment increase, and driving the agency to become the largest in the metro region. Gabriel then worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for Doctors Making Housecalls from 2017 to 2018, where they played a key role in strategizing behavioral health integration services, counseled a caseload of high-risk patients at over 150% of quota using evidence-based psychotherapy modalities, and formed and/or strengthened 15+ strategic partnerships to recruit new patients, expand external referral sources, and ensure patient retention. Finally, Maeck has been working as a Client Success Executive for Validic since 2019.

Gabriel Maeck, LCSW obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College (CUNY) in 2011. In 2013, they earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. In 2017, they obtained a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certification from the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board. In 2018, they received a Good Clinical Practice Certification from the NIDA Clinical Trials Network.
