Robert Metcalfe

Robert Metcalfe has extensive experience in power system dispatch and operations, currently serving in dual roles at Umatilla Electric Cooperative and OGE Energy Corp since June 2021 and August 2018, respectively. Metcalfe is also involved as a Senior Power System Dispatcher at Valley Electric Association, Inc. since August 2015, focusing on monitoring system reserves and directing operations to meet customer load requirements. Previous roles include Power System Dispatcher at Western Area Power Administration, Resource Scheduler/Transmission Grid Operator at PacifiCorp, System Control Specialist at Hoosier Energy, and Distribution Coordinator at Cinergy. Metcalfe holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute.
