Douglas Roy

Douglas Roy has an extensive background in technical support and web administration within the healthcare sector, with experience spanning over a decade. Starting as an Intranet Developer at North Ayrshire & Arran NHS Trust, Douglas successfully developed the Trust's Intranet site and provided support for Internet-related queries. This role was followed by positions as Web Administrator at South Ayrshire NHS Trust and Ayrshire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where Douglas administered Intranet sites and offered technical assistance to hospital staff. Douglas then transitioned to IRW Systems as a Support Engineer, where responsibilities included supporting a large number of office-based and field-based staff. Douglas holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an HND in Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University.
