Kevan Reeve

Kevan Reeve has extensive experience in procurement and business development. Starting in 1983, they worked as a Process Development Chemist for Ward Blenkinsop Ltd (Shell Group) until 1986. Kevan then joined Solvay Interox, where they held various roles, including Senior Scientist, Section Manager, Market Development Manager, and UK Sales Manager for Commodity Chemicals. In 1999, Reeve became the General Manager of the Manchester Customer Service Centre at Walters Hexagon Ltd, overseeing customer service, quality, sales, and logistics. In 2001, they joined AstraZeneca and took on different procurement roles, including Purchasing Director, Global Category Lead for various categories, and Procurement Programme Manager. Reeve then served as a Business Development Manager for API Intermediates (Procurement) at AstraZeneca before transitioning to Uppsala BIO in 2015 as a Business Development (Interim) specialist. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Procurement Specialist (Interim) at Orexo AB publ before joining Valneva in 2018. At Valneva, Reeve held roles as a Procurement Specialist, Strategic Purchasing Specialist, and currently serves as the Head of Procurement.

Kevan Reeve received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Imperial College London in 1980. Kevan later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from the same institution in 1983.
