Nicolas Marin

Nicolas is a Senior Analyst at Valor, responsible for sourcing deals, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting portfolio companies, mainly focusing on the healthcare and education verticals. Previously, Nicolas worked as an intern at Lanx Capital and later joined Valor as a summer intern. Before that, he won the Constellation Challenge in Brazil and presented his investment thesis at the 2019 Brazil Conference in Harvard.

He completed his B.S in Civil Engineering at the Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP), after returning from an exchange semester at the University of Darmstadt in Germany.

Nicolas is passionate about technology and coding, and completed a fullstack development bootcamp. He also enjoys surfing and Latin American Literature.
