Brian Zuleger has a diverse work experience in applied sport psychology, coaching education, and performance coaching. Brian started their career in 2008 as a Personal Trainer at the University of Western Washington Student Recreation Center and later worked as a Graduate Assistant Fitness Coordinator at the Wade King Student Recreation Center. In 2011, they became a Personal Trainer at Wilson's Fitness and an Assistant Coach for the Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track and Field teams at the University of Missouri Athletic Department.
In 2012, Zuleger served as a Graduate Assistant at the Missouri Institute For Positive Coaching at the University of Missouri. Brian then joined Adams State University in 2014, first as an Assistant Professor of Sport Psychology and later as an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Chair in Applied Sport Psychology. Brian also worked as a Tenured Professor in the School of Kinesiology & Health Sciences and held the position of Director of the Joe I. Vigil Center for Human Performance and Coach Education. At Adams State University, they taught various sport psychology and coaching education courses.
In 2015, Zuleger started Arete Performance LLC, a company focused on sports performance training and mental coaching for athletes, teams, and coaches. Brian specialized in mental training and physical training for sport, fitness, and wellness.
