Abhinav Venkat

Abhinav Venkat has over 10 years of work experience. Abhinav started their career in 2011 as a Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. In 2013, they joined Noah Data as an Associate Vice President - Consulting and Pre Sales & Head of Blockchain COE. In this role, they led a team of 7 Engineers to develop expertise in Blockchain development and set up a Blockchain Center of Excellence. Abhinav also consulted with clients across various use cases such as Payments, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Digital Identity, and Fractional ownership of Real Estate. In 2018, they joined Boola as a Blockchain Consultant, where they were part of a 6 member cross cultural founding team for a cutting edge blockchain based live media streaming startup. In 2019, they joined Wipro Limited as Head of Digital Assets | Partnerships & Alliances. In 2021, they joined WazirX as an Associate Director - Product. In 2022, they became the Country Head at VALR and also took an Advisor role at Zupee.

Abhinav Venkat has a diverse educational background. Abhinav obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lancaster University between 2007 and 2010. In 2018, they attended the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and completed the Blockchain Strategy Program. In addition to their formal education, Abhinav Venkat also holds four certifications, including Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers from IBM, Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, and Certified Blockchain Solution Architect from the Blockchain Training Alliance.
