Daniele Pierro

Daniele Pierro is a Project Manager at Valtellina S.p.A. since January 2024, specializing in structural monitoring of bridges using acoustic emissions. Previously, Daniele served as a Civil Structural Engineer at Urti Re Projects srl and the Consorzio Interuniversitario ReLUIS, focusing on the application of acoustic emissions for bridge diagnostics and monitoring through appropriate sensors and structural testing. In addition, an internship at the University of Salerno involved hands-on studies in non-destructive diagnostic techniques, particularly acoustic emissions related to bridge monitoring. Daniele holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Salerno and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, along with a diploma in Geometra.
