Danny Brooks has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Danny started their career in 1987 as a Regional Manager for the South Texas Banking Division at Electronic Data Systems, Inc. In 1997, they joined ValueBank Texas as the Executive Vice President and served in various roles such as Senior Commercial Lender, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. In 2013, they worked at First State Bank of Odem as a Senior Vice President in Commercial Lending before returning to ValueBank Texas as a Senior Vice President. In 2014, they joined American Bank, N.A. as a Senior Business Banking Manager responsible for cash management and business products. Since February 2019, they have been working at ValueBank Texas as a Senior Vice President.
Danny Brooks attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1967 to 1970. During their time at the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math/Computer Science.
