Carlos Gonzalez-Araiza

Carlos Gonzalez-Araiza is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of SIMUTRA Sistema Municipal de Transporte since October 2021. With a strong background in quality engineering and safety management, Carlos has held the position of Quality Engineering Manager at Valutech Outsourcing since June 2012 and previously worked as Managing Director at CGA Consulting, providing consulting and training in HS&E and Quality Assurance Management. Carlos has also managed HS&E and quality programs at Honeywell Aerospace while leading efforts to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS 9001 standards. In addition to these roles, Carlos contributed to the certification of over 150 quality professionals as Section Chair for ASQ from July 1996 to June 2000. Academically, Carlos holds a Master of Sciences in Systems Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California and a technician degree in Electronics from CECYT82/CEBATIS21.
