Andrea Owens

Andrea Owens has a diverse and extensive work experience. Andrea started their career in 1986 at PPG Industries as a Quality Manager & Development Chemist. Andrea then moved on to Westvaco in 1993, where they helped build a manufacturing plant and laboratory for ink resins and performed R&D and plant scale-ups. In 1994, they became a QA Supervisor at Penreco. Andrea started working at Ashland Inc. in 1998 as the Manager of Customer Support, IT, and Quality until 2004. Andrea then became the Asia Regional Deployment Coordinator at Ashland in 2006, successfully deploying a large SAP project across multiple lines of business in China and Singapore. Andrea became a Program Manager at Ashland Inc. in 2009, handling various program management responsibilities until 2016. Andrea then joined Valvoline in 2016 as Director of International Business. Andrea is currently working at Valvoline Global Operations as a part of the Program Management Office since 2023.

Andrea Owens attended Capital University from 1985 to 1989, studying Chemistry. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in Lean IT Leadership, Lean IT Foundations, and Lean IT Kaizen from APMG International in various years.
