Dale Reid

Dale Reid currently serves as a Sr Staff Scientist and EV Project Manager at Valvoline Inc., focusing on the development of testing capabilities for electric vehicles, drivetrains, and battery systems. In addition, Dale has volunteered as a Battery Protection System Inspector for the Innovators Educational Foundation, supporting events such as the Formula Sun Gran Prix and the American Solar Challenge since 2013. Prior experience includes a role as a Product Safety Engineer at Lexmark International, Inc., where technical support for new product development and specialized testing for IT equipment were key responsibilities. Earlier positions included Hardware Engineer, providing advanced debug support across China, and Power Supply Development Engineer at Square D by Schneider Electric. Dale holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, as well as a BS in Industrial Technology from Western Kentucky University.
