Willem van der Hooft

Willem van der Hooft is a co-founder and business development professional with experience in the insurance industry. Willem co-founded ValueChecker.net in 2017, where they helped insurers improve efficiency and customer satisfaction through the use of data, machine learning, and AI. Prior to this, they held various roles in business development and special projects at Van Ameyde Group from 2015 to 2016. Willem also served as the director of Van Ameyde Interim Professionals, a staffing solution for insurance companies and brokers, from 2009 onwards. In addition, they have experience as a commercial director at Van Ameyde Benelux and as an interim manager at Yacht. Earlier in their career, they worked as a transatlantic market developer at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.

Willem van der Hooft attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Economics. Willem later attended Open Universiteit from 2001 to 2006, where they studied Business Administration.
