Derek Nelson

Derek Nelson is an accomplished pilot with extensive experience in various aircraft, currently serving as a pilot at Texas Aircraft Management since June 2017, specializing in the Falcon 900EX, Gulfstream G200, and Citation Sovereign. Since October 2015, Derek has provided contract pilot services on multiple aircraft, including the Citation Sovereign, Gulfstream G200, Hawker HS-125, Lear 60/60XR, and Citation 650, completing training with CAE for SIC roles. In addition to contract piloting, Derek is engaged with CAE as a SCM Lear 60 and has been offering contract pilot services for ferrying aircraft at Van Bortel Aircraft since March 2016. Previous experience includes working as a pilot for Classic World Holdings LLC from October 2013 to April 2015, flying the PA46T. Education was completed at Dallas College Mountain View Campus.
