Marcel van der Vliet

Marcel van der Vliet is an experienced professional in the agri-food commodities sector, currently serving as President of CELCAA since April 2019, advocating for the interests of the EU agri-food trading community while also working as a Commodity and Ingredient Trader at Van Drie Ingredients, a role assumed in March 2016. Prior experience includes significant positions at Cargill as Trading Manager, and at Havero Hoogwegt as Senior Account Manager for Dairy Ingredients, alongside roles in commodity trading at Hoogwegt International B.V. Marcel's career began with various positions in project coordination, policy advising, and account management, supported by an educational background in International Relations and history from the University of Groningen.
