James Bayot

James Bayot is currently the Director of Governmental Issues at Van Ness Feldman, responsible for advising clients on public policy goals and implementing legislative strategies. Prior to this, James worked as a Legislative Assistant, conducting research and providing updates on legislative actions. Additionally, James served as an Executive Assistant, providing support to two Partners of the firm. With a background in Political Communication from The George Washington University, James also has experience as an Editorial Assistant at Congressional Quarterly, where James attended briefings, summarized bills, and assisted in the publication process.
