Pieter Kemp

Pieter Kemp is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as Project Procurement Officer within the Ship Management Department at Van Oord since September 2019, contributing to significant projects such as the renovation of "De Afsluitdijk" and various international dredging and marine projects. Prior to this role, Pieter held the position of Supply Chain Specialist at BAM Bouw en Vastgoed Nederland bv and served as Section Head for Procurement and Supply Equipment at Siemens Energy following Siemens' acquisition of NEM Energy, where Pieter had been a Buyer for both solar and general equipment. Pieter's career began at Rolls-Royce Marine as a Contract Manager and Sales Engineer, followed by positions at Innotive Technical Projectsourcing. Pieter holds multiple NEVI certifications in strategic and tactical purchasing and a degree in Commercial Engineering from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
