Jeff Sha

Jeff Sha is an experienced Aquarium Biologist at Vancouver Aquarium, responsible for the care and maintenance of over 30 exhibits and more than 3000 aquatic specimens. This role includes ensuring proper nutrition, water quality, and disease control in collaboration with senior biologists and veterinary staff. Previously, Jeff served as a Contract Research Assistant at Fish Outlaws, providing support for research on Indigenous fisheries, and worked as a Store Associate at Aquariums West, focusing on customer service and animal husbandry. Jeff holds a Master's degree in Land and Water Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from The University of British Columbia. Additional research experience includes a summer assistant position at Project Seahorse and directed studies on intertidal ecosystem interactions.
