Valerie Braacx

Valerie Braacx is the founder of Veespoke, a company driven by a passion for sewing and accessories, established in September 2013. Concurrently, Valerie serves as the event organizer for Vancouver Etsy Co. since May 2017, leading handmade artisan markets as the Etsy Team captain for the Vancouver Etsy Collective. Valerie has a background in data and project management from Dress for Success Vancouver, where responsibilities included managing online initiatives from January 2014 to February 2020, following a role as Communications Coordinator and Career Centre Program Coordinator from June 2006 to December 2012. Valerie holds an Arts degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University and is pursuing further education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
