Gang Zhang

Gang Zhang currently serves as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Vanda Pharmaceuticals since February 2022. Prior to this role, Gang Zhang was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Caltech from November 2019 to February 2022 and worked as an Associate Research Scientist at the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center from March 2019 to October 2019. Gang Zhang held the position of Associate Professor at the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College from May 2016 to December 2018 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at VCU School of Pharmacy from February 2012 to December 2015. Gang Zhang earned a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from Peking Union Medical College in 2011 and a Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2007.
