Dawn Eck

Director, Thoracic Transplant Clinical Services at Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Dawn Eck has extensive work experience in the medical field, particularly in transplant services. Dawn has been working at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 2007, starting as a Nurse Practitioner at the Heart Transplant Center and later serving as the APN Manager for Thoracic Transplant and Organ Procurement. Currently, they hold the position of Director for Thoracic Transplant Clinical Services. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, they worked as a Registered Nurse at Centennial Medical Center from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, they have experience in the printing industry, specifically in the role of Technical Director for Retail Offset and Gravure Divisions at Quebecor World Printing from 1996 to 2004.

Dawn Eck completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University between 1987 and 1991. From 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Nursing degree with a specialization in Acute Care at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Later, in 2015 and 2016, Dawn earned a Master's of Management in Health Care from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management.
