Steve Averill

Steve Averill has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Steve began their career as a Test Engineer at Floating Point Systems in 1980. Steve then worked as a Test Engineer at Mentor Graphics from 1988 to 1995.

In 1997, they joined Sun Microsystems as a Product & Test Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Operations Engineering Manager (2000-2008) and NPI Test Engineering Manager (2008-2010).

After their time at Sun Microsystems, Steve became the Product Quality Assurance Manager at Grass Valley from 2010 to 2021.

In 2013, they joined RakerShine Productions as the Director of Digital Media, and they currently hold a role as a Test Engineer at Vanguard EMS since 2023.
