Pennington also has a strong educational background, holding a MBA from The Wharton School, a MS in Telecommunications Engineering, and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Currently, Pennington serves as Principal - Investment Management Fintech Strategies at Vanguard and as Global Head of Operational Risk at PureStream Trading Technologies.
