Michael Calderone

Michael Calderone is an accomplished editor and journalist with extensive experience in media and politics. Currently serving as the Editor of The Hive at Vanity Fair since January 2020, Michael leads a team focused on political, media, tech, and business coverage while assigning and editing online stories and print features. Prior roles include Senior Media Reporter at POLITICO, where Michael reported on the Trump administration's relationship with the press, and as a faculty member at Princeton University, teaching courses on media and politics. Michael's career also encompasses teaching at New York University, reporting at The Huffington Post and Yahoo, and writing columns for the New York Observer. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in English and Film Studies from Rutgers University.
