Frank Neumann

Frank Neumann is the current Senior Director of Lifecycle Management at VANS. Prior to this, they were an independent consultant for Consumer Insight Consulting Experts where they executed advanced analytics and consumer insight projects to facilitate clients’ strategic and tactical decisions. Projects included Big Data research, custom consumer studies, advanced data modeling and in-depth business analyses.

Before that, Frank was the Director of Customer Market Insights & Corporate Sales at Bath & Body Works. Here, they established BBW’s consumer analytics capabilities which introduced consumer-centric reporting, analyses and insights into business processes and pioneered consumer-data-informed business decisions & strategy development.

During their time at Bath & Body Works, Frank led the team in gathering, distilling and interpreting of a broad range of large-scale data, including 200MM+ customer database, national daily sales transactions, satisfaction surveys, market research studies and market/category trends. Frank also instituted business intelligence & reporting tools and engineered, tailored and presented critical consumer insight and industry trend analyses to the CEO, the Board of Directors, and functional leaders.

In addition to their analytics role, Frank also assumed P&L responsibility for $100MM Corporate Sales and Gift Card businesses. This included a bottom-up business review and implementation of innovative distribution and marketing strategies. Within their first year, they grew in-store gift card sales by 7% and B2B revenues by 23%. Frank also expanded the hotel amenities program by 33%.

Frank Neumann studied chemical engineering at Universität Karlsruhe (TH) in Germany, and earned a Diplom-Ingenieur, which is the German equivalent of a Master's degree.
