Mari Ahvensalmi

Mari Ahvensalmi has extensive experience in various professional roles, currently serving as a Perhehoitaja in child protection at Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue since August 2023. Prior to this, Mari worked as a Marketing Engineer at Tekla Software from June 2010 to July 2024. In the realm of sports, Mari held the position of Head of Coaching for girls' hockey at Espoon kiekkoseura ry from January 2014 to April 2020 and served as a coach at The Hockey Base between November 2015 and April 2019. Additionally, Mari contributed to the defense of the women's ice hockey team at Blues Hockey Inc. from 2010 to 2016. Earlier career experience includes working as a Palvelukeskus päivystäjä at Securitas Oy from October 2006 to August 2010. Mari holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Management from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (2007-2011) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education at the University of Helsinki since September 2021.
