Heather McCarley

Heather McCarley is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in regulatory operations and airport management. Currently serving as the Director of Regulatory Operations at Vantage Airport Group since September 2017, Heather supports a network of airports and represents the aviation industry as Board Chair of the BC Aviation Council. Previously, as the Managing Director of Kamloops Airport, responsibilities included overseeing safety, security, and customer experience. Heather's background also includes a significant tenure at Vancouver Airport Authority as Manager of Airside Operations, focusing on safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. In addition to their management roles, Heather holds multiple leadership positions on various aviation boards and committees and has been a featured speaker at several industry forums. Heather earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Urban Land Economics from The University of British Columbia.
