Ann Herten

Ann Herten has over 35 years of experience in various human resources roles. Their most recent position is as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Vantage Elevator Solutions, a role they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at WDBA-APWD from April 2021 to March 2022. From 2019 to 2021, Ann was the Vice President of Human Resources at Multimatic Inc.

Before joining Multimatic, Ann held the position of Global Head of Human Resources and Environment, Health & Safety at Stackpole International from 2016 to 2019. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Partner at Capstone Projects.

Ann has also worked for major organizations such as Bombardier, where they held several director-level positions in human resources from 2006 to 2014. Early in their career, Ann worked as the Manager of Human Resources at Magna International (Decoma) from 1989 to 1990. Prior to that, they gained experience as an HR Generalist and Paramedical Recruiter at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and as a Recruitment Officer at the Government of Canada's Public Service Commission.

Ann Herten completed their Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies at the University of Waterloo in 1987. Ann also holds a Certificate in Labour Relations from Queen's University. Additionally, Ann obtained a certification as an Accredited Executive and Organizational Coach from the Institute for Executive Coaching and Leadership in Australia.
