Maria Paz N. has a diverse work history, starting with founding their own company Undrest in 2007, where they served as the CEO until 2016. Maria Paz then worked as an independent fine art consultant before transitioning to roles in academia and startups. Maria Paz served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley in 2017-2018 and later took on leadership roles in people operations at a stealth startup, Polly, and VantageScore Solutions®, where they currently hold the position of Vice President and Head of HR, People Operations & Talent. Throughout their career, Maria Paz N. has demonstrated expertise in developing people strategies, managing talent acquisition, and aligning business goals with DEIB initiatives.

Maria Paz N. graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Political Economy, and Art History with High Honors Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley. Maria Paz also achieved High Honors Distinction in Entrepreneurship from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Additionally, they completed the Startup School program at Y Combinator and studied Finance and Alternative Investments at Harvard Business School.
