Smadar David has a diverse range of work experience. Smadar started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Israel Defense Forces - Military Intelligence in 2009 and worked their way up to become a Mechanical R&D Team Leader. During their time there, they gained experience in leading teams and designing mechanical systems.
In 2016, Smadar joined Innoviz Technologies as the MEMS & Opto-Mechanics Group Manager. Smadar was responsible for managing the design, fabrication, and testing of a novel Opto-MEMS module. Smadar also worked with manufacturing partners globally and ensured compliance with automotive standards.
Currently, Smadar is the CEO & Co-Founder of Vanti, which is an AI product for Manufacturers. Under their leadership, Vanti provides manufacturers with real-time quality predictions, defect detection, and process optimization through their self-service, no-code platform.
Prior to their industry experience, Smadar worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they conducted wind-tunnel tests and taught courses in fluid mechanics.

Smadar David obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, which they completed between 2007 and 2009. Later, Smadar David furthered their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Tel Aviv University, studying from 2012 to 2015.
