Smadar David

Smadar David has a diverse range of work experience. Smadar started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Israel Defense Forces - Military Intelligence in 2009 and worked their way up to become a Mechanical R&D Team Leader. During their time there, they gained experience in leading teams and designing mechanical systems.

In 2016, Smadar joined Innoviz Technologies as the MEMS & Opto-Mechanics Group Manager. Smadar was responsible for managing the design, fabrication, and testing of a novel Opto-MEMS module. Smadar also worked with manufacturing partners globally and ensured compliance with automotive standards.

Currently, Smadar is the CEO & Co-Founder of Vanti, which is an AI product for Manufacturers. Under their leadership, Vanti provides manufacturers with real-time quality predictions, defect detection, and process optimization through their self-service, no-code platform.

Prior to their industry experience, Smadar worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they conducted wind-tunnel tests and taught courses in fluid mechanics.

Smadar David obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, which they completed between 2007 and 2009. Later, Smadar David furthered their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Tel Aviv University, studying from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they hold an alumni certification from SV101 by ICON, although the exact timeframe of its completion is unspecified.
