Alvin Tang

Alvin Tang currently serves as the Managing Director of Kitar Solutions, a joint venture focused on sustainable decommissioning solutions, since June 2024. Prior to this role, Alvin held multiple positions at Sapura Energy Berhad, including Head of New Ventures, where responsibilities included shaping the company's growth strategy with an emphasis on sustainability and ESG integration. Other significant roles at Sapura Energy involved leading strategic turnaround efforts, managing offshore renewable projects in Taiwan, and implementing business development processes. Alvin’s earlier career included positions at Stork, McDermott International, Rockwell Automation, and National Instruments. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Asia School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with participation in a Global MBA Immersion Program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
