Saara Tammi

Saara Tammi's work experience began in 2015 when they worked as a Trainee/Journalist at Turun Sanomat. Saara reported on domestic news and also took on responsibilities for editing and planning the layout of the daily published opinion's page.

In 2016, they worked as a Journalist at Turun Sanomat, reporting on domestic affairs, politics, and the economy.

From 2017 to 2018, Saara worked at Helsingin Sanomat as a Journalist, covering domestic affairs and reporting news as it happened. Saara also worked as a Content Production Trainee at Vapa Media during this time.

In 2019, Saara started working at Vapa Media as a Content Designer, involved in diverse content planning and production. Saara also worked on marketing and campaign concepts and project management.

In 2021, Saara was promoted to the position of Senior Content Designer at Vapa Media. Saara created compelling ideas and concepts, wrote various content pieces, and guided and edited the work of others.

Most recently, Saara has held the position of Creative, Content Lead at Vapa Media since 2022. Their responsibilities include writing, conceptualizing, and clarifying engaging and insightful content for clients.

Throughout their career, Saara has demonstrated expertise in content creation, writing, editing, and project management in the media and marketing industry.

Saara Tammi completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Journalism and Communication at the University of Tampere from 2013 to 2016. Saara then pursued a Master's Degree Programme in Journalism and Media Studies at the same university from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, Saara participated in a Nordplus Student Exchange program at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, focusing on Film and Media Studies. From 2018 to 2020, they attended the University of Helsinki, where they obtained a Master of Social Sciences degree in Global Politics and Communication.
