Clay Colbert

Clay Colbert has a strong background in accounting, with experience in various senior roles.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Senior General Ledger Accountant at StackPath, where they played a key role in the close cycle by preparing journal entries for multiple entities and providing variance analysis.

In 2019, they moved to ClearShift as a Senior Staff Accountant. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining close and reconciliation checklists, preparing journal entries and GL reconciliations, training new hires, and overseeing accounts payable. Clay also prepared monthly reporting packages and GAAP financials for management and investors.

In 2022, Clay joined Evoque as a Corporate Accounting Manager, where they managed corporate accounting functions and played a key role in the month-end close process.

Currently, Clay is working at Vapor Point as an Assistant Controller, a position they started in October 2022.

Clay Colbert completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Tarleton State University. Clay attended the university from 2009 to 2014.
