Anton Skaar Stornes

Anton Skaar Stornes has extensive work experience in the energy industry, with a focus on project management and engineering roles. Anton is currently working at Vår Energi as a Project Management Manager and has been with the company since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Subsea Engineering Lead at Vår Energi from August 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Vår Energi, Anton held various positions at other companies. Anton served as the Chairman of the Board at NUI AS from February 2020 to January 2022, and as a Board Member from August 2017 to January 2020. At Spirit Energy, they worked as a Facilities Project Manager from March 2020 to August 2021, and also held the same position from January 2018 to March 2020.

Anton's earlier experience includes working at Centrica Energi AS as a Project Manager from February 2014 to January 2018, and as a Pipeline and Structural Engineer from March 2013 to February 2014. Anton served as the Department Manager - Project Engineering Management at Subsea 7 from February 2011 to March 2013. Prior to that, Anton worked at Acergy as a Discipline Manager from May 2007 to March 2011, a Senior Project Engineer from September 2005 to May 2007, and a Project Engineer from January 2003 to August 2005.

Anton'scareer in the energy industry began at Corrocean ASA, where they worked as a Project Engineer from November 2001 to December 2002.

Throughout their career, Anton has gained extensive experience in project management, subsea engineering, structural works, and offshore operations.

Anton Skaar Stornes obtained a Master of Science degree in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1996 to 2000.
