Pmp® Laura Romeo

Laura Romeo, PMP®, has extensive work experience in project management and coordination roles. Laura currently works as a Project Lead at Vår Energi, where they have been since December 2022. Prior to their current role, Laura was a Development Project Manager at Vår Energi starting from July 2018. Laura also held the role of Development Project Manager at Eni Norge AS from July 2018 to July 2023.

In their previous positions, Laura served as the Value & Risk Team Leader at Eni Norge AS from January 2015 to June 2018. Laura was responsible for budget, cost, and schedule input for the Goliat project, the most important project in the company. Laura coordinated a team of Cost controllers and Planners and reported to the Finance Department and Statoil through monthly reports.

In their earlier career, Laura worked at Eni S.p.A. as a Project Services Manager from April 2003 to August 2012. Laura was responsible for budget preparation, multidisciplinary team coordination, schedule and cost planning, and reporting. Laura also managed risk, stakeholders, and lessons learned.

Laura's work experience also includes a stage at Procter&Gamble, where they optimized a specific production department, specifically focusing on the automatic loading of cellulose. Laura used tools such as "Flussi di Problem Solving" to enhance the efficiency of machine operators and developed a comprehensive instruction manual for a machine.

Laura Romeo, PMP®, completed their education with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Università degli Studi di Palermo. Laura pursued this degree from 1995 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI in the field of Project Management, which they completed from 2006 to 2007.
