Salam Hassan has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Youth Delegate in the United Nations in 2013. They participated in decision-making processes, provided input on resolutions, and attended meetings and negotiations in the General Assembly. In 2015, they worked as a Research Associate at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences until 2018. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Student Ambassador at Universitetet i Stavanger. They then joined Capgemini Invent in 2018 as a Manager and remained in that position until 2023. In 2023, they started working at Vår Energi in the Corporate Strategy role. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President at INDØKS from 2017 to 2018.
Salam Hassan began their education history in 2011 by completing the International Baccalaureate. From 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Stavanger. In 2015, Salam participated in a Student Exchange Program at the University of Adelaide, focusing on Petroleum Engineering. They then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Economics from the University of Stavanger from 2016 to 2018.
