Rick Wimer

Rick Wimer has had a diverse career path, beginning with a role as a Teacher at Summit Academy in Cottonwood Idaho in 2011. Rick then moved to Pacific Cabinets, Inc. in 2016 as an IT Manager, where they configured Vsphere and managed all IT infrastructure. In 2013, they became a Project Manager at Advanced Welding and Steel, where they managed 6 projects ranging from $200k to $1.7M and created performance standards for subcontractors and office personnel. In 2017, they joined Smartsheet as a Site Reliability Engineer and System Administrator. In 2020, they moved to Microsoft as a Software Engineer, and in 2021, they joined Axon as a Site Reliability Engineer. Rick is currently a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Vareto.

Rick Wimer completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum in 2011. Rick also attended Vivarium Novum, but did not receive a degree.
