Christopher Lewis, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles related to CT imaging technology and medical device development.

From 2016 to the present, Lewis has worked at Varex Imaging Corporation, initially as the Director of HI-CT Systems Development and currently as the Senior Director and Business Manager of CT Solutions.

Prior to that, they spent eight years at Varian Medical Systems, where they held positions including Senior Manager of Hi-CT Development Engineering and Senior R&D Engineer. In these roles, they managed teams, developed new technologies and products for x-ray tubes used in CT imaging, and implemented process improvements to streamline development and increase product quality.

Before their time at Varian, Lewis served as Part-Time Faculty at Brigham Young University from 2004 to 2008. In this role, they managed and mentored student design teams working on projects for companies such as Varian Medical Systems and Merit Medical Systems, Inc.

Christopher'searliest work experience was as a Student Engineer at Merit Medical Systems, Inc. from 2003 to 2004, where they conducted failure analysis, redesigned products, and developed a semi-automated laser soldering system.

Christopher Lewis, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Christopher started their academic journey in 2001 at Brigham Young University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Christopher dedicated himself to their studies for two years and successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2003.

Motivated by their passion for mechanical engineering, Christopher continued their education at Brigham Young University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. This program lasted from 2003 to 2004, enabling him to expand their knowledge and specialize further in the field.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to excel in their field, Christopher Lewis pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Christopher enrolled at Brigham Young University in 2004 and spent the next five years dedicated to their doctoral studies. During this time, they conducted research, contributed to academic publications, and successfully defended their dissertation. In 2009, they emerged as a highly qualified and accomplished individual, earning their PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
