Hemalini Pillay

Hemalini Pillay has a diverse work experience in accounting roles. Hemalini started their career as a Financial Accounts Assistant at F.H Chamberlain Trading(Pty)Ltd in 2004, where they efficiently handled month-end processes and bank reconciliations. Hemalini then progressed to the role of Junior Accountant, where they managed financial and tax asset registers and prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple companies. As an Assistant Accountant, Hemalini calculated quarterly business taxes and ensured accuracy between the payroll system and the general ledger. Hemalini then became a Group Accountant, where they created accounting procedures, prepared financial statements for five different companies, and played a significant role in the budget cycle. Hemalini also handled accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashbooks, payroll, and general ledger tasks. In 2019, Hemalini joined Boart Longyear as a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant, responsible for coordinating accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing. Currently, they work as a Corporate Consolidation - GL Accountant at Varex Imaging Corporation.

From 2009 to 2012, Hemalini Pillay attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they earned an Associate's degree in Auditing.
