Ian Yorkston

Ian Yorkston has extensive work experience as a Senior Research Scientist, primarily in the field of imaging and healthcare technology. Ian began their career at Eastman Kodak in 1998, where they held the position of Senior Research Scientist until 2009. Following their time at Kodak, Yorkston moved to CarestreamHealth, where they continued to work as a Senior Research Scientist. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Chief Scientist, a position they held until 2022. Currently, they are working at Varex Imaging Corporation as a Senior Research Scientist, starting in 2023.

Ian Yorkston earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Nuclear Physics from The University of Edinburgh. Ian attended the university from 1979 to 1989.
