Shigeru Onoda

Shigeru Onoda has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Shigeru is currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Varex Imaging Corporation since October 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as a Development Engineer at Varex Imaging Corporation from January 2017 to September 2019.

Before joining Varex Imaging Corporation, Shigeru worked at Varian Medical Systems as a Development Engineer from January 2016 to December 2016. In this role, they led projects for designing, experimenting, and processing X-ray medical device ionization chambers and cables for domestic and international companies.

From January 2013 to December 2015, Shigeru worked at Claymount Assemblies BV. Shigeru began as an Engineer and later became a Senior Development Engineer. Here, they were responsible for procurement and restructuring of IT network infrastructure due to a merger of two companies. Shigeru also led projects related to designing, experimenting, and processing X-ray medical device ionization chambers and cables.

Prior to Claymount Assemblies BV, Shigeru worked at Advanced Instrument Development, Inc. from June 2004 to December 2012 as an Engineer. Their responsibilities included implementing Engineering Change Notices and designing, experimenting, and processing X-ray medical device ionization chambers and cables. Shigeru also maintained servers, PCs, and websites.

Shigeru's career began at Soleq Corp. as a Junior Electrical Engineer from April 2002 to May 2004. Shigeru was involved in the development of axial flux motors and performed inspections, testing, and repairs on locomotive power supplies.

Shigeru Onoda pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kobe University from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, attending from 2001 to 2003.
