Ted Lutzel

Ted Lutzel has extensive experience in the sales and management of optoelectronic components and digital imaging products. Ted began their career in 1998 as a Regional Sales Manager at EG&G Reticon, where they consistently exceeded sales targets. In 2002, they moved to PerkinElmer Optoelectronics as the North American Sales Manager, expanding their territory and responsibilities. In 2008, Ted joined PerkinElmer as the North American Sales Manager for Medical Imaging, focusing on amorphous silicon-based flat panel detectors for various applications. Ted played a key role in the acquisition of Dexela in 2011, which added CMOS detectors to their product offering. In 2017, the acquisition of PerkinElmer Medical Imaging by Varex Imaging Corporation led to Ted's position as Sales Manager - North America, where they continue to focus on amorphous silicon-based flat panel detectors for medical and industrial X-Ray imaging applications. Their expertise extends to markets such as oncology, NDT/metrology, security, and veterinary imaging.

From 1974 to 1979, Ted Lutzel attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Chemical Engineering Sciences.
