Barbara Nagy

Barbara Nagy has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Barbara began their career in 1994 as an Assistant Financial Controller at Funding Corporation of America. Barbara then worked as an Accounting Director at Lauck Group, Inc., where they managed general accounting tasks and prepared financial statements. Barbara joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1998 and served as an Audit Manager/Senior Associate, gaining experience in auditing financial statements, internal controls, and SEC filings. At Heelys, Inc., they held the positions of Director of External Reporting and Corporate Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting, overseeing strategic reporting initiatives. Barbara's role as Director of Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting at Fogo de Chão involved managing financial reporting and corporate accounting activities for the Brazilian steakhouse chain. Barbara is currently employed as the Senior Director of Accounting and Finance at Vari, where they supervise accounting and finance operations.

Barbara Nagy holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from Western Illinois University, which they completed from 1985 to 1986. Barbara later pursued a Master's degree in Professional Accounting at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1995 to 1997. In 2001, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State Board of Public Accountancy in Texas.
