Gary Blackwell

Gary Blackwell has over 39 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Gary is currently the Vice President of Varney Agency since January 2021. Previously, they served as the President of Blackwell Insurance Agency for nearly four decades, from September 1982 to January 2021. During this time, they also held the role of Manager from August 1982 to November 2003. Additionally, they have been actively involved with the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents since October 2008, serving as the State National Director for Maine and later as the Past President from October 2016 to October 2017.

Gary Blackwell completed their Master of Science degree in Business from Husson College in 1993. Prior to that, they attended LeTourneau University from 1978 to 1982, although the degree and field of study are not specified. Before their university education, they completed their high school education at Central High School from 1974 to 1978.
