Benjamin Heard

Benjamin Heard has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Benjamin is currently the President of Gulf Coast Sequestration since October 2018. In addition, they are the Co-Founder and Operating Partner at Varsity Energy since August 2019. Before that, they worked as a Partner at Richmond E&P since October 2014.

Prior to their roles in the energy sector, Benjamin worked at Direct Energy. Benjamin held the position of Director, Business Development from May 2012 to September 2014, and prior to that, they served as Senior Counsel from January 2009 to May 2012. Benjamin started their career as an Associate at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP from September 2006 to December 2008.

Benjamin Heard attended Albuquerque Academy from 1994 to 1998. Benjamin then pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at Vanderbilt University from 1998 to 2002.
