Shay Humphrey

Shay Humphrey currently serves as General Counsel at Vassar College since April 2023. Prior to this role, Shay was In-House Counsel at Access Physical Therapy & Wellness, Inc. from March 2021 to April 2023, and Special Counsel at Catania, Mahon & Rider, PLLC from July 2014 to April 2023, primarily focusing on corporate law and commercial transactions with an emphasis on intellectual property, employment, and healthcare law. Shay also held the position of Associate and Partner at Rider, Weiner & Frankel, P.C. from July 2002 to July 2014, specializing in intellectual property and corporate matters. Additionally, Shay served as an instructor for the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences Publishing Masters Degree Program at Pace University from August 2000 to May 2007, teaching courses on the legal aspects of publishing. Shay holds a JD from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law (1991-1994) and a BA in History from Vassar College (1987-1991).
