Sofia Ortiz-Hinojosa

Sofia Ortiz-Hinojosa is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of philosophy. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Vassar College since July 2016, Sofia also held the role of Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Philosophy. Previous academic positions include doctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from June 2011 to August 2016 and teaching fellow at Harvard University in early 2016. Sofia's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Philosophy from MIT and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Classics from Brown University, where graduation was achieved Magna Cum Laude. Additional experience includes teaching at Breakthrough Collaborative and stage management at Trinity Repertory Company.
