Dennis Stone has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Dennis served as the Vice President of Business Development at VAST, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they founded and led the World Space Week Association, a non-profit organization that coordinates the largest space event on Earth. Dennis also worked at NASA Johnson Space Center, where they held various positions including Program Integration Manager and Project Executive for commercial space programs. Dennis played a key role in the development of NASA's Commercial LEO Development Program and led efforts in ISS commercialization. Additionally, they worked at Ion Biotechnology as the CEO, leading a firm focused on developing cancer therapeutics. Furthermore, Dennis held positions at Rockwell International, Ford Aerospace, and McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Co., where they contributed to various space-related projects.
Dennis Stone earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1973 to 1977.
