Art Krotou has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Art is currently working as an Independent Researcher & Product Strategies at Vault12 since February 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded and worked as a Product Manager at Lastkey, a company focused on helping people manage their digital assets through a secure and fault-tolerant key management system. Art also co-founded and served as the Chief Product Architect at U•HODL, where they developed secure and user-friendly hardware wallets for cryptocurrency.

Before venturing into the cryptocurrency industry, Art co-founded Flexibadge, LLC, where they served as the Co-Founder, CPO, and CEO. Flexibadge is a smart wearable for professional events that digitizes offline data for marketing automation. During their time at Flexibadge, Art led both the business development and product aspects of the company.

Prior to Flexibadge, Art was the Head of Product, CEO, and Co-founder at TEN Electronics, a design center for products based on flexible electronic paper. Art played a crucial role in driving the adoption of newer technologies in consumer and industrial markets through industry-focused platforms and partnerships. One notable partnership was with Yota devices, the developer of YotaPhone.

Before their involvement in the electronics industry, Art worked at EUV Labs, Ltd., where they held the positions of BDO, Board Member, and Chief Executive Officer as part of the founding team. The company aimed to solve the challenges of high-volume manufacturing using EUV lithography technology.

Art's career started at Russian Technoparks ltd, where they worked as a Managing Partner, overseeing a successful business incubator specializing in microelectronics, life sciences, nuclear, and nano technologies. During their tenure, they secured significant private investments for one of the carefully grown startups.

Additionally, Art has experience working internationally as the International Marketing Director at Bolzano Villetri Srl, a private project focused on bringing disruptive acoustic reproduction technology to the consumer electronics market.

Art's career began with a role as a Project Manager at TEKAMA, where they organized the first Emerging Technologies and Entrepreneurship Conference in Russia in 2006, bringing together entrepreneurs, industry, academia, and capital to foster innovation.

Art Krotou completed a Master's degree in Physics at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2000 to 2006. From 2003 to 2006, they also pursued a Master's degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Marketing, and Venture at the Graduate School of Business Administration, Moscow State University. In 2011, Art attended ESMT Berlin, where they completed a program in Managing Projects on Innovation. In 2012, they studied Design and Visual Communications at the Istituto Europeo di Design.
